世界では今、障がいの有無や年齢にかかわらず、誰もが安心して旅行を楽しめる「アクセシブルツーリズム」への関心が高まっています。
身体障がいだけでなく、視覚・聴覚障がい、自閉症、認知症、高齢者など、旅行者一人ひとりに必要なサポートは異なります。
これからの観光に求められるのは、単に段差をなくすことだけではなく、必要な情報や支援を受けながら、誰もが旅そのものを楽しめる環境をつくることです。
GAIA Resortでも、その考え方を大切にしています。

GAIA Resortでは現在、一部の宿泊施設をバリアフリー対応としています。
現在、公式サイトでは、

施設ごとに設備や条件は異なりますので、ご利用にあたって必要なサポートや設備がある場合は、事前にお問い合わせいただくことをおすすめします。
「旅をあきらめない」地域へ
GAIA Resortを運営するガイアグループでは、「誰もが安心して暮らせる」「誰もが地域の中で役割を持てる」という蔵王福祉の森構想を基軸に地域づくりを進めています。
その考え方は、旅行にもつながっています。

GAIA Group is also working toward a broader vision based on the Zao Welfare Forest Initiative, with plans for welfare-oriented accommodations and the future support service “Sobasuke.”
