■ November 1: Enjoy the Zao Late-Autumn Harvest Festival
Today, November 1, the 13th Zao Late-Autumn Festival is taking place in the parking area beside Zao Town Hall.
This seasonal event celebrates the region’s agricultural harvest.
Local farmers offer fresh produce, including highland-grown daikon radishes.
A special highland daikon sale is one of the festival highlights.
A children’s traditional kagura performance is also scheduled for November 1.
