【9月7日まで】道の駅村田で「くらしのうつわ展・夢のコップ大賞」開催――工芸と蔵の町を楽しむ旅へ

宮城県村田町の「道の駅村田」で、ガラスや陶器の作品を展示・販売する「くらしのうつわ展」と、子どもたちの自由な発想を形にした「夢のコップ大賞」が、2026年9月7日（月）まで開催されています。

世界に一つだけの「夢のコップ」
会場には、村田町を拠点に活動するガラス工芸家や陶芸家による、グラス、酒器、皿、ボウル、オブジェなど約500点が並びます。
同時開催されている「夢のコップ大賞」では、「こんなコップがあったらいいのに」という自由な絵を、地域のガラス工芸家と陶芸家が実際の作品として再現。128点の応募から選ばれた入賞作品17点が展示されています。
子どもたちの想像力と職人の技術が出会って生まれた、世界に一つだけの器をお楽しみください。

会場のある村田町は、歴史的な蔵の町並みと、地域に受け継がれてきた文化や手仕事が息づくまちです。

Until September 7: Discover Local Craftsmanship in Murata

The “Living Vessels Exhibition” and the “Dream Cup Award” are being held at Michi-no-Eki Murata in Miyagi Prefecture until September 7, 2026.
The exhibition features approximately 500 glass and ceramic works created by local artists, including glasses, sake vessels, plates, bowls and decorative objects.
The “Dream Cup Award” brings children’s imaginative drawings to life through the skills of local glass and ceramic artists. Seventeen award-winning works selected from 128 entries are on display.
