2026年9月5日（土）・6日（日）の2日間、仙台市の勾当台公園で「ハイウェイフェスタとうほく2026」が開催されます。
高速道路でつながる東北6県のご当地グルメや特産品、郷土芸能が一堂に集まり、東北各地の魅力を仙台の中心部で体感できるイベントです。
会場となる勾当台公園は、「ガイアリゾート仙台道」から歩いて数分の距離。ご宿泊の皆さまにも、仙台滞在とあわせて気軽にお楽しみいただけます。

東北6県の郷土芸能が仙台に集結
イベント会場では、東北6県を代表する郷土芸能が披露されます。
青森県の五所川原立佞武多囃子、岩手県のさんさ踊り、秋田県のなまはげ太鼓、宮城県の仙台すずめ踊り、山形県の花笠踊り、福島県のフラダンスなど、それぞれの地域で受け継がれてきた文化を間近で楽しむことができます。
一つの会場を巡りながら、東北各地の祭りや伝統に触れられることも、このイベントならではの魅力です。
ご当地グルメと特産品を楽しむ2日間
会場には、東北各地で親しまれているご当地グルメや特産品が集まります。
地域色豊かなご当地麺をはじめ、その土地ならではの味を楽しみながら、次に訪れてみたい東北のまちを見つけてみてはいかがでしょうか。

ご家族で楽しめる体験イベントも開催
会場では、高速道路で活躍する高所作業車やパトロールカーの乗車体験をはじめ、ちびっこマジック教室、東北の名産品が当たる「ハイウェイすごろく」なども予定されています。
また、俳優の松谷鷹也さんとNEXCO東日本イメージキャラクターの中川絵美里さんによるスペシャルトークステージも開催されます。
大人から子どもまで、幅広い世代で楽しめる2日間です。
ガイアリゾート仙台道を拠点に、仙台のまちを歩く
「ガイアリゾート仙台道」は、仙台市中心部の観光や街歩きを楽しむための滞在拠点です。
今回の会場となる勾当台公園までは徒歩数分。移動に車を使う必要がなく、ご宿泊先から散策を楽しみながら会場へ向かうことができます。
イベントを楽しんだ後は、定禅寺通や一番町など、仙台中心部の街歩きと組み合わせるのもおすすめです。

Visitors can enjoy traditional performances representing the six prefectures of Tohoku, including Goshogawara Tachineputa festival music, Morioka Sansa Odori, Namahage drumming, Sendai Suzume Odori, Yamagata Hanagasa dancing and Fukushima hula performances.
Local dishes, regional noodles and specialty products from throughout Tohoku will also be available.
Family-friendly attractions include opportunities to experience highway maintenance vehicles and patrol cars, a magic workshop for children and a giant highway-themed board game with chances to win regional prizes.
A special talk stage featuring actor Takaya Matsutani and NEXCO East Japan image ambassador Emiri Nakagawa is also scheduled.
