約80の出店が歴史ある境内に集結

当日は、キッチンカーをはじめ、ハンドメイドアクセサリーの販売、占い、アロマや癒やしに関する体験など、多彩な出店が予定されています。

お寺への参拝とともに、地域の食や手仕事、さまざまな人との出会いを楽しめることが「お寺マルシェ」の魅力です。

創建1300年のロゴをあしらった限定御朱印も用意される予定で、記念の年ならではの特別な参拝となりそうです。

また、登米市津山町出身のピアニスト・山形花映さんと、音楽家・田中良典さんによる夫婦デュオ「たなかやまがた」の奉納演奏も予定されています。

創建1300年、良縁の寺として親しまれる柳津虚空蔵尊

柳津虚空蔵尊は、726年に創建されたと伝えられる歴史ある寺院です。

境内には、歌人・大伴家持ゆかりと伝わる「鵲橋（かささぎばし）」があり、人と人との縁を結ぶお寺としても親しまれてきました。

「お寺マルシェ」は、良いご縁と東日本大震災からの復興を願い、2014年に始まった地域イベントです。

食べること、買うこと、体験すること、語り合うこと。その一つひとつを通じて、訪れる人と地域の皆さまとの間に新しいご縁が生まれます。

登米と蔵王を結ぶ、新たな交流

2026年8月には、登米市議会議員の皆さまをはじめとする視察団が蔵王を訪れ、「蔵王福祉の森構想」とガイアグループの地域づくりの現場を視察されました。

視察では、地域に点在する空き家や別荘を宿泊施設として再生するガイアリゾートの取り組みや、温泉を基盤に宿泊、飲食、農業、福祉、医療、移住、雇用、地域交流を結ぶ「オスピタリタ・ディフーザ」についてご紹介しました。

Temple Market at the 1,300-Year-Old Yanagizu Kokuzoson Temple

On Sunday, September 6, 2026, the annual “Otera Marche,” or Temple Market, will be held at Yanagizu Kokuzoson Temple in Tome City, Miyagi Prefecture.

Celebrating the temple’s 1,300th anniversary, the event will bring approximately 80 food, craft and experience-based vendors to its historic grounds.

It is a wonderful opportunity to discover the history, culture and warm community of Tome while travelling through Miyagi.

Food, Crafts and Local Encounters

The market is expected to feature food trucks, handmade accessories, fortune-telling, aromatherapy and other relaxing experiences.

A special commemorative goshuin temple seal featuring the 1,300th-anniversary logo is also planned.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a musical offering by “Tanaka Yamagata,” a husband-and-wife duo comprising pianist Hanae Yamagata, who is originally from Tsuyama, and musician Ryosuke Tanaka.

Connecting Tome and Zao

In August 2026, a delegation including members of the Tome City Council visited Zao to learn about the Zao Welfare Forest Vision and GAIA Group’s community-development initiatives.

Although Tome and Zao have different landscapes and industries, both regions have rich agricultural resources, cultural heritage and buildings that can be given new roles.
