全国の温泉地を応援投票によって盛り上げる「温泉総選挙2026」が開催されています。
「温泉総選挙」は、日本各地に受け継がれてきた温泉の魅力を広く発信し、温泉地の利用促進と地域活性化につなげる国民参加型のプロジェクトです。2016年の開始から10周年を迎える今回は、「日本人がガチ投票」をテーマに、エリア別のリアルなランキングが決定されます。

The “Hot Spring Election 2026,” a nationwide campaign that supports and celebrates Japan’s hot spring destinations through public voting, is now underway.
Launched in 2016, the Hot Spring Election is a public-participation regional revitalization project designed to share the unique appeal of hot spring communities across Japan, encourage visits, and contribute to their continued development. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026, the campaign will determine authentic regional rankings based on votes from travelers and hot spring enthusiasts.
GAIA Resort is participating in the on-site voting initiative, allowing guests to support their favorite hot spring destinations during their stay.

温泉は、単に旅先で入浴を楽しむための施設ではありません。

A hot spring is more than simply a place to bathe while traveling.
For generations, hot springs have supported local life, provided healing and relaxation, encouraged human connection, and linked together accommodation, food, agriculture, commerce, culture, and many other aspects of the community.

GAIA Resortが進める温泉基盤型Ospitalità Diffusa
GAIA Resortが蔵王山水苑エリアを中心に進めているのは、温泉を地域の大切な生活基盤として捉える、温泉基盤型Ospitalità Diffusa（オスピタリタ・ディフーザ）です。
地域に点在する宿泊施設を、温泉、飲食店、農園、商店、自然、文化、そして地域で暮らす人々と面としてつなぎ、地域全体を一つの滞在空間として育てています。
旅行者は一つの建物の中だけで滞在を完結させるのではなく、温泉に入り、森や温泉街を歩き、地域の店を利用し、人々と出会います。地域と一時的に暮らしを共有する「temporary resident（一時的な住民）」として、その土地の物語に触れていきます。
温泉は、観光だけでなく、健康、福祉、移住、交流、防災、雇用、地域コミュニティを支える基盤にもなります。

GAIA Resort’s Hot Spring-Based Ospitalità Diffusa
Centered on Zao Sansuien, GAIA Resort is developing a hot spring-based model of Ospitalità Diffusa—distributed hospitality that recognizes hot springs as essential community infrastructure.
Accommodation facilities located throughout the area are connected with hot springs, restaurants, farms, shops, nature, culture, and local residents, allowing the entire region to function as one integrated place to stay.
Rather than spending their entire visit inside a single hotel building, travelers can enjoy the hot springs, walk through forests and the hot spring town, visit local businesses, and meet people who live in the community. In this way, guests become “temporary residents,” sharing in the everyday life and stories of the region.
Hot springs also support much more than tourism. They can serve as a foundation for health, welfare, migration, social interaction, disaster preparedness, employment, and community building.
Through this campaign, we hope every vote will contribute to the smiles of those who live, work, and travel in hot spring communities—and to a more sustainable regional future.

GAIA Resortに設置されている「温泉総選挙2026」の案内チラシから、現地投票にご参加いただけます。
チラシに掲載されたQRコードをスマートフォンで読み取り、記載されている現地投票パスワードを入力して、お気に入りの温泉地を応援してください。
投票期間は、2026年8月7日（金）午前10時から10月31日（土）午後6時までです。
投票後にアンケートへ回答し、メールアドレスを登録した方の中から抽選で100名様に、エントリー施設で利用できる5,000円分のオリジナル宿泊券がプレゼントされます。プレゼント総額は50万円です。

Join the On-Site Vote at GAIA Resort
Guests can participate through the Hot Spring Election 2026 information flyer displayed at GAIA Resort.
Simply scan the QR code on the flyer with your smartphone, enter the on-site voting password shown there, and cast your vote for your favorite hot spring destination.
The voting period runs from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, through 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Voters who complete the questionnaire and register an email address can also enter a prize drawing. One hundred winners will each receive an original accommodation voucher worth JPY 5,000, valid at participating properties, for a total prize value of JPY 500,000.
