宮城県塩竈市・浦戸諸島の桂島海水浴場が、2026年7月18日（土）から8月16日（日）までオープンしています。
波が穏やかで、小さなお子さま連れでも安心して楽しめることから、毎年多くのファミリーに親しまれている海水浴場です。
トイレや脱衣所、休憩所、子ども用プール、有料シャワーなどの設備も整い、浮き輪やビーチパラソルなどのレンタルも利用できます。
Katsurashima Beach, located on Katsurashima Island in the Urato Islands of Shiogama, is open from July 18 to August 16, 2026.
Known for its calm waters, it is one of Miyagi’s most family-friendly beaches. Facilities include restrooms, changing rooms, rest areas, a children’s pool, paid showers, and beach equipment rentals.
島ならではのおもてなし
桂島には常設の海の家はありませんが、桂島桟橋近くでは、地元のお母さんたちによる「がんばる母ちゃん会『番屋』」が営業しています。
焼きそばや軽食、飲み物などを販売し、島ならではの温かなおもてなしで皆さまを迎えてくれます。
営業期間は海水浴場開設期間と同じ7月18日～8月16日（毎週火曜日定休）です。
Although there is no permanent beach house, local residents operate “Banya,” a small seaside food stand near Katsurashima Port, serving yakisoba, drinks, and other light meals with genuine island hospitality.
4日間限定「アイランドフェス in 桂島」
8月8日（土）から11日（火）までの4日間は、宮城大学学生団体Brushによる「アイランドフェス in 桂島」も開催されます。
露店販売やワークショップなど、子どもから大人まで楽しめる企画が予定されており、夏の思い出づくりにぴったりです。
From August 8 to 11, Miyagi University student group Brush will host the Island Festival in Katsurashima, featuring food stalls, workshops, and fun activities for visitors of all ages.
