諫早万灯川まつり 2026
長崎県の夏を代表する祭りの一つ、「諫早万灯川まつり」が、2026年7月25日（土）に開催されます。
この祭りは、1957年に発生した諫早大水害の犠牲者への慰霊と、まちの復興への願いを込めて始まりました。現在では、長崎県を代表する夏の風物詩として、多くの人々が訪れるイベントとなっています。
本明川には約2万本の万灯が灯され、川面一面を幻想的な光が包み込みます。そして夜空には約2,000発の花火が打ち上げられ、静かな祈りの灯りと迫力ある花火が織りなす、美しく心に残る夏の夜を演出します。
A Summer Tradition of Light and Remembrance
One of Nagasaki’s most beautiful summer festivals, the Isahaya Manto River Festival, will be held on July 25, 2026.
Originally established to honor the victims of the 1957 Isahaya Flood and celebrate the city’s recovery, the festival has grown into one of Nagasaki’s signature summer events.
Around 20,000 floating lanterns illuminate the Honmyo River while 2,000 fireworks light up the night sky, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of remembrance, hope, and celebration.
